Company went through major restructuring, and in addition to my previous duties I acquired the following responsibilities:
Managed freelance publicists and facilitated publicity campaigns. Wrote press releases and sales presentations. Scheduled author interviews. Maintained vendor relationships. Proofread layouts. Managed shipping process for domestic and foreign distributors. Facilitated bi-annual royalty statements and payments to authors.

Conducted research and wrote contributing essays for books and website. Collaborated with editorial team on book conceptualization. Solicited, read, and analyzed book proposals. Negotiated reprint, photography and text permissions. Oversaw author contracts.

Assisted Publisher with operations including accounting and purchasing, market research, database construction and implementation of customer service systems. Facilitated the conception and initial design of web site and provided site copy.
